For the last week I've been at home - I'm not going to lie I was quite bored and ill which drives me mad! However when I was feeling better me and my mum set off on a bike ride from my old High School town of Peebles and ended up in (the small village??) Traquaire.
Here lies a gem of Scottish History...
The gates pictured have not been opened since 1745 and well not be opened until a Stuart Monarch sits on the throne. The house itself is open to the public and has an amazing maze in its grounds - sadly it was closed when I was there.
