The other week I finally got round to getting my hair-cut - which is turning out to be an annual thing and no less!
I used to love my hairdresser in Edinburgh and always went back to him - mainly because he treated me to the upstairs salon which had massaging chairs to sit in while you got your hair washed and got to watch catwalk shows on the screens in front!
Anyway, I decided to change as he kept getting promoted and costing more and more and I do spend more time living in Bath so I thought I would find someone/somewhere down here.
I therefore called round many salons to find out their prices and decided to settle on 'No.3 Hairdressing' which is located down a walk-way past the Assembly Rooms.
I've walked past it so many times and thought it looked really trendy but just presumed it would cost a fortune but in actual fact it was only £30 with student discount.
The reason I'm writing about it is because the interior of it was really unique, modern and yet charismatic. The feature which I thought was most original was in the salon room upstairs where the mirrors were propped up on easels - something I've never seen before and thought it was a very imaginative idea! They also kept a minimal colour theme of black/gray/white which was accompanied by varnished wood floorboards and an added splash of vibrant colour on the walls from the odd painting hung up. The other thing I loved about the place was the chaise lounge they had in the reception area for customers to sit on while they waited - but as we know, I'm a sucker for a nice chair!
I was also really impressed with the girl who did my hair. Not only did she cut and blow-dry it well she was also good at making conversation and I didn't feel it was like the usual awkward small chat you often get at the hairdressers!
Really recommend the place so if you're in Bath and need a hair-cut then check out 'No.3 Hairdressing'!
